JOB DESCRIPTION:

This high-profile role has direct interaction with all levels of senior leadership. Reporting to the CFO, this individual will lead the Finance function in providing financial and analytical support for managerial decision making. The successful candidate must drive accuracy in reporting and analytics while demonstrating the desire to pursue continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of the weekly operating results
• Manage the finance oversight of the weekly production bonus plan
• Primary preparer of sales & contribution margin modeling for the annual budgeting process
• Assist senior leadership in evaluation of program margin and pricing opportunities
• Prepare financial evaluations of new business opportunities
• Assist the senior leadership team in analyzing investment decisions including payback and ROI analyses
• Prepare financial forecasts
• Supervise junior staff or management trainees

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in accounting or finance required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role with extensive analytical experience
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills, Microsoft Access a plus
• Manufacturing or logistics background preferred but not required
• Must possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to understand and master new concepts quickly
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
