Manager – Business Insights and Strategy
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our global consumer goods client is seeking a Manager of Initiatives and Strategy to join their team. This role is a newly created role that will report to the Director. This is a really neat role where you’ll be involved with participating in cross-functional teams accountable for developing and supporting our overall strategy and vision. You will own the P&L, creating forecasts for future business strategies of the company. You’ll present to senior level management, so strong presentation and communication skills required. Strong in financial analysis, dealing with large data sets in Excel, putting together PowerPoint decks to “tell a story”, and Tableau for reporting are all required. Below is a summary of the overall job responsibilities:
- Evaluation of promotions and initiatives, both in test markets and on a national scale
- Business performance analysis and reporting
- Sales and product forecasting
- Thought partnership and initiative management with cross-functional teams
- Business case development and presentation
Requirements:
- Bachelors and/or Master degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA and/or MBA highly preferred
- 4+ years of relatable experience in Public Accounting, Consulting, Business Insights/Research, Strategy or analytical/data intensive environment
- Knowledge of working in large data sets strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Tableau strongly preferred
- Proficient in PowerPoint
